Solenoid Coils
iTherm’s Solenoid coils are used for most induction heating applications where either larger parts/active areas need to be heated or smaller parts that do not require localized heat are used. These induction coils are also useful for applications that require movement within the magnetic field before, during, or after the heating process or in applications where non-contact must be maintained. Examples of applications that benefit most from these coils include: Induction coax soldering, RF and microwave connector soldering, die heating for catheter tipping , threaded stud insertion, heat staking, heat treating, brazing, scan heating, and heated transfer pipes for metal casting.
