Orthos Flux Coils

The Orthos Flux coils are designed for use on flat surfaces where the inductive heat must be directed in a specific spot atop that surface. Like the Transverse Flux Coil, this induction coil type uses a flux concentrator to deliver heat to a very specific (and customizable) cross-section, providing both high power densities and rapid cycle times for precision heating. Our Orthos Flux coils have proven themselves especially effective with photovoltaic bussing/tabbing soldering, induction soldering, PCB assembly manufacture, and flush wire/ribbon cable soldering, just to name a few.
